Dear customers,

We are currently remaking all our IP.Board skins from scratch so they all are fully compatible with IPB 3.1.1. We will then remake our current vBulletin skins so they are fully compatible with vBulletin 4.0.4.

Everything is coming at the same time, that's why everything is taking a little bit longer.

Thanks for your comprehension.

A couple other vBulletin skin developers aren't bothering until vBulletin 4.1 until they update their skins, as apparently there is a completely new style back end in that version.

Do you know if there is any truth to that? Just wondering if once that version has come out if there will have to be another major upgrade to skins.

I think they will redo their skinning engine, yes. But I don't have any other details really...

I am sorry, I am just new and don't want to be bothering or rude (and I don't know if at this company here it's allowed to ask as others bothered their customers by prohibiting to ask at all) , but is there any information when Brave 4.0.4 will be available (I just bought it for 4.0.3 and would love to upgrade asap). Is it a few days or rather weeks? Thanks and sorry for any inconvenience.

As I said in the first post, it will be after we have converted all our current IPB skins. We might wait for vBulletin 4.1 as well.

Please don't scare me Mr.Turbis. My members are absolutely in love with your Underground theme and it would be tragic to have to wait for 4.1 to continue using this theme. There were some important features added to vb 4.0.4 and I'm sure I will not be the only one wanting to upgrade and not wait for the theme upgrade; I say this with the utmost respect. The theme we purchased is rich with design and to it's own extent beautiful, my staff and I really hope we get to see Underground before 4.1, we really do enjoy and admire your design. Thank you for your time and for your consideration.

Based on this statement I actually became a customer here and bought my first style.

I hope this is a misunderstanding...

A little information and maybe a timeline would be appreciated. Thanks.

I thought the skins are compatible with vBulletin 4.0.4. That is why I just bought one. Does that mean I have to wait? I kinda regret now.

I can confirm this, the reply button doesn't seem to want to save it, it just laods forever, and you have to click advanced post.

Do you have any issues with the blogs? If not I believe I have a solution for the reply issue and I might purchase ths 4.0.3 of warrior and just upgrade it myself.

Would be good though to see some sort of update from the skinbox team regarding this issue. VB has released a PL release for 4.0.4 so in total they have fixed some 500+ bugs from 4.0.3 so really this is not smart business to give the option to the customer to either stay with 500+ bugs with your software for the sake of a skin or loose your money and upgrade to find another skin. I know the price is not expensive to be complaining this much but it's for the piece of mind to have some sense in direction with this situation. We really appreciate your work and this is why we are so persistent of doing so.

I have seen skinners from vbulletin.org and also another premium skin developer (completeVB) take less than 2-3 business days to port out their skins from the 4.0.3 to the 4.0.4 versions. So I am guessing, just a very few minor tweaks by the skinbox theme designers are needed to release all their skins for vb4.0.4 customers. I am anxiously waiting for this to happen soon since I wish to purchase 2 skins from here, but seems like skinbox currently gives high priority to IPB customers.

I understand your point, but the vBulletin skins would have been updated in 2 days if we were not currently rebuilding 15 IPB skins from scratch.

You guys don't seem to care about customers. You are just pushing us away with your attitude.

I have to agree with some of the other posts. If you will not be updating your skins to v4.0.4 then i will have to just find other skins to fit my site. Shame as i currently am using brave and warrior.

As far as i am aware, there has been no mention of v4.1 on vbulletin apart from them saying their along way away from v4.1
I am not prepared to run a site with bugs when there is an update to fix them, especially since i have paid for it.

I came here because I was deeply frustrated with another company (the previous owner obviously sold the company and since that time no updates, no support, no vB4 skins at all, no replies and heavy issues with customers).

I found the vB4 skins here and based on Olivier's statement that they will be updated soon I purchased the first skin and was happy to have finally found what I am looking for: a reliable company that I can work with and that allows me to update quickly. And where I would get kind and friendly support if needed. If vB releases a new version, I want to update asap, have you seen their numbers of bugfixes??

I agree it's not so much money we are talking about. Nevertheless, I feel pretty confused that as a vB customer you don't get any information (and I kindly asked a long time ago already). As said before, other companies updated within 3 days, and to tell us you could update in 2 days if only you weren't so busy sounds a bit sarcastic to me. Why not do that updates "quickly" inbetween?

I hope I am wrong and the situation comes back to normal soon. I truly hope I get an updated version of the Brave skin within the next few days. I already found a working 4.0.4 alternative, yet I would prefer to use Brave!
