What's the deal here?

I'm interested in purchasing a skin but am well aware with what happened to Skinbox previously. How do I know the current management is likely to stick around and continue upgrading skins when new IPB versions are released? Obviously it would be a waste of money if IPB were to release an upgrade and Skinbox management had upped sticks and no longer supported the skins.
