Is and have been quite a few issues with Warrior 4.02 update.

Personally i think it was released way before it should have been, spend more time to check everything before releasing.
Dedicate a couple of faithful customers to do the testing online since local can differ quite a bit.

I rather wait for the perfect version then having to update every 2-3 days.

We released it soon so customers who had already updated their vBulletin can still use Warrior. We make a lot of efforts to release a non-buggy Warrior. You have to understand that the vBulletin skinning system is not what a skinner necessarily dream of.

don't understand how you update the Warrior skin that came out after the underground skin, when people who payed for underground are still waiting for the update?

its been nearly 2 weeks if not longer since 4.02 was released by vbulletin, I payed for a skin that I can't use or open my forum yet .. and you give us no ETA .

there must be an update on how long this is going to be. if it's not soon then I'd look to request a refund please

Thank you

You have to be patient. We have to remake the skin. And we are doing that freely. We could have just charged you for the update. And your threats won't bring you anywhere.

I have been very patient, for 2 to 3 weeks .. most sites dont charge for update of their skins, so not sure why you would of suggested you "could" of. Your a company that should be in touch with vbulletin forseeing any changes that could change your skins.

Not sure where I see the threat in my reply, i'm just saying that I don't understand why the 2nd skin for vb 4.02 has already been updated when imo the people who bought the first skin the underground one hasn't been updated with no time scale on it. I wasn't threatening to request a refund, I was telling you what I will be doing if it isn't updated soon as your holding me back from running my site. I'd use the refund to go else where, but atm i'm holding back on the off chance that this skin will be finished soon as it is a very good skin.

Out of interest have you made a start on updating the 1st skin you made for vbulletin 4.02?

You can't just say "so if I don't get it right now I'll ask for a refund". That's disrespectful, particularly when you paid a skin $15.

if u reread i didn't actually say it like that, I said if it isn't ready soon i'll have to request a refund due to I need to move on as I'm being held up atm ... I'm not being disrespectful at all, you wouldn't pay for an item yourself and not be able to use it for 3 to 4 weeks..

tbh doesn't matter how much a skin has cost either big or small in amount, its all money that I have spent in a way for a skin I have bought that I can't even use now....its literally useless....so looking from a customers point of view i've paid for a skin thats just redundant, its like paying for a service that you cant use for 4 weeks. So im entitled to request a refund if I so wish at any point due to item not useable.

I totally understand your frustration, but you have to understand that we can't just redo all skins in two days. vBulletin skinning is not something all skinners would dream of. We didn't know vBulletin would just release a point version that would mess all skins. It's not like if it was our fault. We are doing our possible, and the upgrade will be free.

Okay Olivier, fair enough ... I apologise for sounding off, like you say it is frustrating looking at the broken skin and can't do anything with it. Please keep us updated as soon as you know anything.

Thank you

I don t understand people who upgrade without take a look BEFORE upgrading at the Mod compatibility, and the skins too.
And the minimum is to have a forum test to see if you must wait before upgrading.

like you said yourself, you didn't expect vb to create problems with the upgrade and your a skin development company and you didn't forsee this... so the average forum webmaster definately wouldn't of known this was going to happen.
