is it possible to display activity, statistics via external script (widget if u will) for ipb board?

for instance for twitter i can show follower counter
for facebook - number of fans
for youtube - number of subscribers

via small php script

would be nice to display # of members for invision board

That would be possible with some PHP. Not too hard. Have a look at how the board statistics are coded and you'll see what you have to do, more or less. Or hire a developer.
