We are glad to announce the release of Cielo 2.2.0. The new version of the skin is now compatible with our framework and with the latest IP.Services official applications (Blog, Downloads, Gallery, Chat, Nexus, Content, Tracker and Shootbox). The skin has also been revamped both design and code-wise. It now uses much more modern code.

Retrospective
When we first launched Cielo, in March 2010, it had a lot of success since we had implemented something that nobody had ever done before: our grid board index view. It was the first IPB skin ever to have that feature and it proved at the time that we could make real custom stuff with the IP.Board skinning system.



Then, in the summer of 2010, we launched version 2.0.0 of Cielo as part of our first big batch update. This update included many new features, like our collapsible welcome message, our very famous background picker and much more.



And today, approximately one year after we first launched it, we are releasing version 2.2.0 of the skin.



New feature: Switch Views
Cielo now ships with a brand new feature that lets you switch between the list and the grid views on the board index.



Comes with 5 custom-made backgrounds

Cielo now comes with 5 high quality, custom-made scenery backgrounds and the themes for these five backgrounds are: Montréal, Forest, Mountains, Space and Sky.



Current customers can download (and reinstall) the skin through their download box.

I enjoy this skin a lot, and it looks great, but I have a missing image.

There is everything except 11.png. Where would I go about finding this image at?

May I ask where you got these backgrounds? I'm in the need of some water/fish related backgrounds. Also I wonder if it's possible to disable avatars, and if so, what forum icon pack is included in Cielo? Same pack as in Mystic and Brave?

Yes you can disable the avatars. The forum pack included is the same as the old Cielo.

The topic hover previews do not open by the topic. The pop-up opens on the top of the page instead.

How much $ for custom background? I don't need it now, but maybe when my project go live (thought of using Cielo).

Can you fix this "like" section? I would like to have it transparent, because as it is now it ruin the great background. Seems like you've forgotten to skin it or so, because it's showing up in white in "Mystic" as well. You might want to check it out =).
