Exactly what was done to Brave other than the update that was needed for 4 months? There's no new features like all the skins you designed ahead of current customers needing updates for months..

From a technical perspective:
- Backgrounds are now lazy-loaded (unlike previously) - thumbnails are generated automatically and cached
- Features can be deactivated with features.ini - this functionality adds both css to hide the elements from the viewport + removes the related javascript module + hide part of the html from the real markup
- The js code base is divided into small modules - only what's needed and what's included in _js/manifest was built with brave (that means a much lighter js)
- Width of the skin is directed by general.ini which enables easy change of the value (this general.ini is now present in all the latest updated skins, so it's exactly the same way to change the width for any skin)
- The background picker now relies upon the background transitioning framework instead of a dirty fix - that means better performance (this little piece of code will also be rolled out in all other skins as soon as I find it 'ready' for massive deployment)
- Backgrounds can now be configured from backgrounds.ini so adding custom backgrounds is very easy - options available include: 'set as default (default=on)', 'add background-repeat (repeat=on)', 'make fixed (fixed=on)'
- "Page state" is now kept across user navigation session by automatically-generated css (that means no flickering of the header on page load - unlike previously)
- Things like dropdowns or popups are now configured by the html markup - e.g. attribute data-dropdown turn a list into a dropdown menu, or data-box turn a div into a native IPB popup (+ data-dombox, data-balloon, data-domballoon (<= this one is deactivated by default)).
- Popups are no more a hard copy of a html piece of code (done at runtime) but a real dom manipulation. Well that may not talk to you but it enables password remembering by the browser, very handy.
- Collapsible areas are also using the html markup for configuration - that means you could create others very easily
- Skins are now given a version number (see skin.ini)
- And many more improvements.

The improvements in speed are nice, the look is also nice. I would of liked to of seen member photos in categories but beggars can't be choosers at this point. I always give credit where credit is due and it is due here and I see a better product. Thank you for that.
Please, in the future please don't let us go that long again.

If I've made extensive modifications to the previous version of Blood, especially for IP.Content, how much leeway do I have with the update? Is this a situation where I may have to recode a lot of the small details already added? I'm really excited about the framework but am hesitant since I only recently launched.

Thank you so very much for all the hard work on your part, Sebastien & Olivier.
Brave looks spectacular as always, and it just keeps getting better. You guys rock!

Are the above features added across all the updates or just brave? Was wonder what was new with Blood as well.
Installed Blood, is the Mod tools footer bar gone? I'm not seeing it on my test board.

[Blood]
Not sure if this is a bug or the way you guys wanted it, but the topic buttons seem to be white/transparent rather than dark gray like the older style. If this was planned, where can I edit them to make the buttons darker like this?:

EDIT: Cancel this. I found what to edit in ipb_styles.css, noticed it was rgba.

Like last time we purchased the option for you to load the skin and do our header. The only email I got was regarding payment confirmation. Can you let me know when you might be able to upload it?
Also we had made several changes like width, drop down links and some image/color changes, addition of tweetboard - will all of those need to be redone once you have loaded the new version?
Thank you
