[Olivier Turbis]

The first skin to be released as part of our current batch update is Elegant.

Current Elegant customers can download the new version for free in their download box. See it live here, purchase it here.

What's new?
The skin now comes with a brand new style picker, that means you do not have to install 3 skins anymore. It comes with our 3 very-famous color variations - blue, green and red, and a new baby is introduced: black.


Elegant also comes with a handful sliding login panel.


Some new features have been added as well, like avatars in board index, rounded avatars in topic view, etc.

New profiles
Elegant now comes with a more elegant, cleaner and simpler user profile.


Compatible
Elegant is fully compatible with all official IPS addons and IPS Extras (IP.Tracker).

Our new framework
Elegant is now fully compatible with our new framework that lets you turn on and off features easily, change the width of the skin with a simple edit, and a lot more. View our tutorials for more information.

As always, if you find bugs please report them in our bug tracker.

Oliver, I see you added new profile icons in new release. Wouldn't that increase page loading time, if forums is busy? Is it possible to remove those? Profile icons in skin at present it does nothing except showing. In Xenforo it's different thing since they have nice profile pop ups when you click on it.

Also, I see you changed navigation CSS or style. It's no more like old one but now it is different.

Can I keep the old one if possible? Can you release new tutorial so I can do changes or can you help me?

I dont like the breadcrubs at all and as far as i can see in the test site, login seems to have issues loading!
Somethin is wrong with jquery for sure!

I will come back soon and give it a nice try though cause this is what i have seen in a brief!

2. Why cant see the login feature on live board?

The profile icons won't affect your load times, really. That is just one more sql query. See later in my post for instructions on how to remove them, though.

For the other issues, you will have to wait for Olivier.

You have to click on the "Sign in" word actually. It will be changed so that the full button is clickable.

1. We did not create avatars_on_board_index = off at the moment. It will be included with next update.
However, you can simply remove this line in boardIndexTemplate:

Skinbox::avatars()->in_forums($cat_data, true);

And they will be removed.

2. In fact, you have to click on the word "Sign in" for the login panel to appear. We will change that so that it is the whole button in the next update (which will come shortly as usual with new skin releases).

The latest Chrome on XP SP3. The old Elegant isn't affected by this.
The spacing here could also use a bit of work IMO:

OK. So if I understood this correctly, setting it to "false" will show normal post icons (hot topic,read,unread,poll etc.) instead of avatars

Not really. Avatars are not shown in forum view. They are only shown in last post on board index. So, removing this line (not changing the value to false), will remove these avatars as well.

Effect like the toggle on/off effect for forums and sidebar menu. + I noticed that the "button" doesnt work, you have to click the text "sign in" for it to show up. A bit annoying
