You see, much better?
This is great, 100 times better than the original solution, also as I mentioned in other thread, for next update, you might want consider remove the "Topics & Replies" on link hover, and put it on row hover. There is really no need to display this box under description content. This will make description look more clean. But this is so simple skin edit I could do it myself I guess, I just want to suggest it for you, so you could consider it for future version. No biggie. Good job!
Just boosted skin quality by x 5. Joie now bought. This is my 5th skin, and this show that listening to you customers makes your customers stay. Thank you.

Hi Olivier,
This is probably an overly basic question, so please excuse: Once I purchase your Joie skin, will it be easy to add the "status updates" hook in the sidebar?
Thanks!

Not in the sidebar, no. But the hook is already available into the "Misc." tab on board index.

You could also remove the recent topics view and make the misc tab the default view for your users: they would be able to see the statuses easily this way.

Hi
First of all: I like the Joie-skin alot.
Secondly: I'm seriously frusrated, that you will not make Joie compatible with IE. YES i do know IE sucks, and YES i know it's a pain where the sun never shines to support it, BUT however, since more than a third of my current visitors use IE, it's absolutely impossible for me to even consider using Joie.
This is what Joie looks like in IE8 (for me):

You can see the text in the (javescript?) drop-down menu, has converted to various-sized grey bars.
Now in the post with the announcement of Joie 1.0.1, you (skinbox), talked about how you would not support IE, like it would be impossible or something. You'r proposal was this: buy another skin, and have you'r IE-visitors look at that instead. Not only that, you went on talking about how tech-sites would understand IE is bad, and that users using IE are not users worth having...
..now i don't want to prejudge anyone here, but talking business to someone, and proposing thier costumers are not worth having, just sounds straight up retarted. I'm sorry, but that is the truth.
How could you ever think, that buyers would simply cut a big chunk of their users, just because of a skin-design?
Personally, I think you should state directly on the productpage of Joie, that it is incompatible with IE. With a designflaw like the grey bars, i would (had i bought Joie already), instantly demand a refund.
And now that i have that of my shoulders.. I still do like Joie alot, and I would still very much like to use it, but i will not (ever) use 2 different skins on my site as suggested. My only question i this:
Will you ever make Joie "compatible" with IE or not? (like a simpler IE-version of Joie, which pops-up when IE-users are detected?)
Thank you!

Hello,
We have had the same issues with one of our newest skin, Viril. Since it contains a significant improvement in terms of functionality and performance, it serves as a test to include these changes in all skins. We are currently focusing on having Viril 100% compatible with IE - thanks to our new IE developer Grégory Lony.
At the same time, we are preparing our first major update of the year - the batch update. Its main goal is to provide all the skins with better functionality and performance, while maintaining the compatibility with IE. Joie will be part of this major update and will be improved significantly in IE. It won't be released until it looks nearly identical in IE and FF. We will support at least IE 8 and IE 9 for all skins - and will do our best for IE 7.
Joie will probably be one of the last skins of the batch update, though. The first one will come this week.
Thanks for your feedback,
Regards,
S. Penet.
