I am considering having a custom skin made, but I am curious what the process is exactly, and how long it takes. I am looking for something pretty specific, so I don't really feel comfortable just filling out the custom skin order form and then waiting for it to be delivered. Is there someone I can talk to first about it?

You do not pay when you make your request. You just have to fill out the form, and a designer will get back to you as soon as possible.

I submitted the form a few days ago and haven't received a response. I am pretty excited to talk to someone about this and get it started so I hope you find the time to respond soon.

The custom skinning section lacks a sales manager, I used to take care of this but I am too busy at the moment. So don't worry if you're not getting an answer right now, that only means no one is available to work on your project, yet.

Try already paying $200 and not getting any word back about a week later.
Multiple emails to support/designer - no word back.

We have been very busy having multiple requests for custom skins lately. I am sorry Alex (your designer) hasn't emailed you yet. I will make sure this issue is resolved ASAP.

Take a hint and keep your money, you should be able to guess how the support will be from this post!!!
A simple request takes this long, how long do you think your skin will take, many many and many more months......

That's not true at all. We just have a lot of requests and as much as we'd love to accept them all, we can't. Once we accept a request it usually takes about a week to complete.

Alex my original designer was new to the team, so that unprofessionalism does not reflect them at all. Scott, the designer working on my custom skin has done a great job so far, and am very satisfied with how well and quick the turnaround has been.

I will let Olivier answer you. Please note we apologize for the lack of attention you experience. This is mostly due to the great increase in the number of requests we have to manage. We will improve on designers and requests management in the next few months.
