Dear vBulletin customers,

We are glad to announce that all our current vBulletin skins are now compatible with vBulletin 4.0.5. Please remember that this is a compatibility update, meaning that we only made the vBulletin 4.0.3 skins compatible with the 4.0.5 version. We will rebuild the skins from scratch and add all the new features (currently in the IP.Board skins exclusively) when vBulletin 4.1 goes final.

Two main changes in the skins for this update:

• Warrior now has a fluid width as it was requested a lot.
  
• Both Cielo and Magnetic now have three files that MUST be uploaded (imported) through your vBulletin Admin CP if you have the CMS and the Blog: vbulletin-style.xml, blog-style.xml and cms-style.xml. You first have to upload vbulletin-style the normal way, then you have to import blog-style.xml and cms-style.xml in Styles & Templates > Download / Upload Styles > Merge Into Style > Magnetic.

Excellent! I just bought the Magnetic skin today and can now update my vBulletin forum also.

Seems to be an issue with the Warrior style in vBulletin. Some forums sections look okay, others are messsed up (see attachment).

Also, what if we preferred the previous fixed-width setting? Can that easily be attained again?

Did you reimport the skin entirely? I see the old top background which is not in the new 4.0.5 version. In any case please create a topic in the support section if you need help.

so i uploaded the new skin in my box and it still looks the same fixed ..width do we have to tweak something to get it fluid

The new version of Warrior is fluid by default.

it was still fixed when i down loaded it I had to go into the css and change the width

Thank you Olivier, this must be a pain with monthly bug fixes from vb updates breaking styles. Although it's great to have the bug fixes from vb I feel sorry for your team. Thank you again for the excellent customer service.

Is there some issues with "Magnetic" in vBulletin 4.0.5 ? I am having an unbalanced display on homepage.
