All of our current IP.Board 3.1.1 skins have been updated. This release is more of a bug fix one, although we have implemented some features and improved some design elements. All the skins are available in your download box for immediate download. You can also view the skins live if you are considering purchasing a product from us.

What's New?

All skins
  • Skins now load faster with Javascript optimization. Most elements are now fetched only once using our new element storage API. It removes the need for hundreds of javascript calls. We removed hundreds of javascript function calls thanks to the element storage API.
Mystic
  • Forum blocks are now entirely clickable
Elegant & Underground
  • New topic icons
Velvet, Magnetic & Brave
  • All necessary PSDs are now included in the archives (Velvet: bg.psd & bg-footer.psd, Magnetic: all backgrounds' PSDs, Brave: branding_right.psd)

Bug Fixes

We have given a little bit of love to the Bug Tracker so it now supports versions for every skins. This update is updating the version of all IP.Board 3.1.1 skins to version 2.0.1. We have also added the "Global Issues" category, this category is for issues that are affecting every single skins.

Here's the list of the bugs that were fixed in this update:

Global Issues

Velvet

Elegant

Underground

Brave

Blood

Magnetic

Tutorials

We have updated and added some tutorials to our tutorials database. New tutorials include how to manage our new features, remove them, etc. We have also divided them into three categories: Skin specific, General and Common issues. It is worth taking a look!

How we update? Delete skin, and then re-upload it or is there an easier way?

I think you need to do it the hard way. I'll just have to live with my bug filled skin then :D.

If I install this update am I basically starting over? I've been tweaking this (Brave) for my site and I'd hate to have to start all over.

Just like any skin updates, you have to redo the changes. You should keep track of every changes you make to your skins. A skin updates frequently and so does the main software (in that case IP.Board).

You mean the bottom bar problem for Cielo and Mystic can't be fixed?

Man... why does this have to happen to the skin I need to use :(

I might have to do what aliajouz did and attach the bar under the header.

There is an option "are you upgrading this skin?" but I guess it doesn't work :P

It's very laggy... Like when I scroll down, it lags... Any way I can speed this up, or is it a problem?

Are you talking about the live preview? Please remember that the live previews are in an iframe, that's why it's way more laggy.

If however it's too slow for your computer or your users (when it's live), we can help you to disable some features to increase performance. Especially with the new Mystic.

It's the Source skin, and no offence, but it should be fine on this computer. (Quad Core - 8GB RAM - 2GB Video RAM)

Could you PM me with suggestions, I'd be greatful. Otherwise it's fantastic, Oliver, you and your company should be very proud of yourselves :D
